5.0 out of 5 stars Review for the Journal 23 Dec. 2013
By Rachael Kaup - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved this Journal. There are different stories in it. Poems and short stories. There is no solid theme and so you have ghost stories, tales of murder, sad stories, and so forth. The poems are the same way. There is no set theme. There are some curse words for it is a journal in which several authors submit things and so some feel that they should curse others are a little more reserved. There are some sexual topics but nothing that is step by step instructions practically.

Some of the poems and even the short stories I felt as though they were difficult to interpret. But some authors have deep, meaningful symbols behind their works that you can only understand by consulting them. It happens with a lot of poetry. Maybe that is why some people do not like it for you have to try and think outside of the box. Not to be rude. Even I get caught up in my own little world that I forget how to step out of it and look at things through a different set of eyes and from different angles.

If you love different themes and poetry and simple short stories that will take you less than an hour to read, I recommend this journal. You don't have to read it all at once, you can just pick at it until you are through. I almost forgot! There are some photography pictures in the journal as well as writings. Enjoy everyone!
