Format: Hardcover
This `Concise Veterinary Dictionary' is a great reference book for Veterinary students, as well as for other animal care courses. It is also good for those who work with animals or have an interest in them in general. There are plenty of technical terms in here, as well as more general information that may be of use to pet owners who wish to learn more about any conditions their animals may have. There are numerous illustrations throughout to clarify certain points and the writing is clear to read. This is a great dictionary and one of the only ones of it's kind and makes for a great reference book. If this doesn't provide all the info you may want then you could also check out the Oxford Dictionary of Zoology which may be of some use, although some of the information does overlap.

I really wanted this book but was a bit disappointed at how old the volume looked. It really looked more "used" than I expected. It shows that what some sellers regard as "very good" might be qualified as "fair or reasonably good by others. Still, I am very pleased with the item. Otherwise, I would have returned it

Paper is extremely thin but the actual amount of knowledge in there is very good for the price you pay. Just have to be careful when flicking through pages that you don't accidentally rip any out. Delivered on time and was in excellent condition.

Thank you for sending this book so promptly. My daughter was very surprised and is enjoying it being that she loves taking care of animals and wants to be a veterinarian. I'd definitely use this vendor again. Thanks
