I've had several dictionaries and they've all been kind of iffy, to say the least!The others have had words missing here and there so frustration has been a common word. This one has them all. I'm a writer as well as a newsletter-editor so this dictionary is a must for me, as it should be for you too. I shopped around and Amazon was the best for this, making it a good deal, including free delivery. What a bargain.

A Good Family Dictionary, rather than an everyday at the office type dictionary.
Take off the ugly dust cover and have it on the coffee table for everyone to use.
Clear and easy to use. The Thumb holes are ok, but rest in the middle of the letter rather than at the beginning - these arn't that well cut either and feel rough. For the price i would have expected a better 'finish' . That said, it was a present for my Mom who does a lot of quizzes and stuff and was well received.

Quite a different style to the old book I have printed in the 70's. Very informative on how a word can have different meaning with the same speeling.
