Sloppy editing makes product worthless

I bought this a while back thinking that since it was Oxford, it would be a quality book. Boy, what a disappointment! The book was first published in 1987 as the New Macmillan Encyclopedia. It gives Afghanistan's population as
318890923 which would make it more populous than the US. It gives three out of the four provinces of Pakistan but curiously enough doesn't have an entry for Sind. Not mentioning any or mentioning all of them would seem to be the logical thing to do. Definitely not worth the price charged for it.
