Product Description

Product Description

This bag sports many of the quality features for which Everki has come to be known - large zippers, leather handle, durable, water-resistant materials, ergonomic straps and back padding, Checkpoint-Friendly laptop compartment (fits up to 17.3"), and, of course, attractive design. Along with its laptop compartment, the Concept also features two additional large, zippered compartments, each strategically laid out to maximize space and functionality and outfitted with separate slots and pockets perfect for portable USB devices and other small and medium-sized items. Everki's latest endeavor also marks the debut of its patent-pending corner-guard protection system, which provides added padding to the areas laptop manufacturers have cited as the most frequently damaged. A sturdy hard-shell sunglass/gadget case, embedded discretely into its own zippered pocket, as well as a weight-distributing chest strap, water-repellent ballistic nylon exterior and weather cover, multi-function side pockets, and a slot for Kindle/iPad/tablet PC (in laptop compartment) round out this most recent addition to the catalogue. In addition, as with all Everki products, the Concept is backed by the company's Limited Lifetime Warranty and world-class customer service. Space, organization, quality, style… they're all part of the Concept.

I have a problem with rucksacks, and have purchased WAY too many over the years. These have been Berghaus, Osprey and a whole range of Wenger Packs. I was looking for something of high quality and high capacity and this seemed to have excellent reviews in the US. Firstly, it is certainly as good (at least initially) as any laptop rucksack i have ever had. Build quality seems to be excellent. The features are all fairly standard now, two major compartments, laptop sleeve and an additional sleeve for tablets. The only unique thing with this pack being the sunglasses housing. I am, then, at a bit of a loss as to where exactly the £250 price comes in. Is it better than an £80 Wenger rucksack - yes. It is much much better - No. Being that you can get 3 high end Wenger packs for the same price i cannot see how anyone could justify purchasing this one. On its way back.

While still early days, I'm very please with this backpack. the quality of construction is quite high and it easily swallows my 17.3" sony vaio

It's a little bit fiddly when opening the various sections and I don't really like the hard case for sunglasses, a soft case would have allowed more flexibility

A bit pricy, but every bit as nice as a Tumi 1 Dec 2013

This backpack is fantastic. I bought in preparation for a work trips to Germany and the UK. The bag is TSA friendly which made getting through security a breeze. The quick access pouch on the top is an awesome feature and a must have for airline travel. LOTs of complements too. This bag looks as high quality as it is, and also looks very professional, not like some kids school bag. Oh, and in addition to my computer, chargers, cables, phone, toiletries etc., I was also able to fit an entire days worth of cloths (just in case of lost checked luggage).
