I wish that I had purchased this book as soon as I got A PC. It would have saved me a lot of experimenting time.

Bought for my parents, who at the ages of 73 and 74, had no experience of computers. Now they load their MP3'S, talk to relatives on Skype and download pictures from their digital cameras.Surf on granny and grandad LOL

I bought this as a gift for my Auntie and Uncle who are both computer novices. Thus far they have found the book very useful and easy to use.It doesn't go in depth on many things, but it is a computers for beginners book and not a computer bible. An example: They recently bought a new printer and the book talks about the different types of printer, but gives no advice on installation of a printer; yes it may seem obvious to some, but they are complete novices. Anyway, all in all a great book for the less computer literate amongst us; an easy indoctrination by all accounts.
