Getting started,

This review is from: Computing for Seniors in Easy Steps (Paperback)
The book explains computer concepts and terminology so you can easily follow the steps, and starts off at a simple level with PC games, drawing tools and music functions, so you can become familiar with the mouse and the keyboard. Other chapters deal with tasks you might want to carry out, such as letter writing, online shopping or digital photography. The larger than average print size helps, and the book is clearly illustrated. If you want to build your skills in using a computer but have limited experience, this could be a good place to start.

I bought this for my step-father (he's 76 and VERY new to computers) and he seems to be getting along with it nicely. In fact he's asked me to order a second copy for one of his friends. So unlike the previous reviewer, I'd recommend giving it a go.

Bought this for an aunt who had borrowed it from her local library and found it very useful.
