Best book 19 Mar 2010
I have bought several computing books as after 3 years of owning a computer I still fell that there is so much I do not know. Most are not very helpful so I borrowed this one from the library first, then immediately ordered it. It is the best one I have read, really useful. I use it as a constant reference

I got this book for my mother-in law who recently bought herself a laptop to replace the 'dinosaur' of a PC that she has been using for the last 8 years!

Although she is ok with the basics such as word, excel and email she was not informed enough to get the full use from her 'lappy.

This book has opened her eyes to the world of the internet. She is now making purchases on line, creating folders in her email and a whole list of other things. Not bad for a 72 year old!

This book is a little gem and I would highly recommend it for any one of any age who is 'challenged' by computing and the internet. :)

I bought this book as a present for a family member who has recently bought his first computer. He said that the book is clearly written and easy to follow. It covered all the main topics of interest, and he has found it very useful in helping him to start using his computer.
