This book is full of comprehension exercises - stories, letters, recipes, poems etc - which are actually quite fun to read! I especially recommend this book for those taking the 11+. I tutor 11+ in N.Ireland and this is one of the most relevant practice books I have found. I intend to get the books for Ages 9 - 10 and 10 - 11 also!

This book is well worth the money. As a new year 4 teacher who has only been in teaching for three years, I found this book very helpful. I use it during guided reading as an activity that a group can work on, and it's great for SAT's revision!! Really worth the money, it has been used lots!
