Completing the Puzzle [Kindle Edition]

Okay. Normally, it takes me an absolute age to start a book, let alone finish one! So when I came across Amanda Egan on twitter - @mummy_misfit - I introduced myself and was instantly attracted by her reply and humour. Then, I found out that Amanda was an author, with her latest book, 'Completing The Puzzle' just recently released. Well....since I had recently downloaded the kindle app onto my laptop, I decided to give Amanda's book a whirl and downloaded it. Oh boy, am I glad I did!! From the very first sentence to the very last, Amanda's book had me giggling all the way through. The characters are brilliant and the story is one that I wanted to jump into, if only to sort out one of the characters! You'll know who I'm referring to when you read it yourself! This is a fabulous chick lit and I laughed out loud. So, going back to my first opening line, I can now tell you that I read this book in 3 days...3 days!!! Let me tell you, this is a miracle for me!! Just goes to show what an impact Amanda's book has! This is one book that you'll find hard to put down once you start reading it! 'Completing The Puzzle' is a great read and a must for your collection. So please take my advice and get downloading!! Absolutely brilliant!! Hallelujah for Amazon, the Kindle app and twitter!! Completing the Puzzle is the third & long awaited novel by the extremely talented Amanda Egan.

In Completing the Puzzle Amanda shed her stylish "Mummy Misfit" cloak that she had successfully engaged us all with her 2 previous novels. You can read my reviews of Diary of a Mummy Misfit & The Darker side of Mummy Misfit.

I waited with baited breath to find out the direction of Completing the Puzzle, I was NOT disappointed.

Fee is a strong character but living the everyday life we can all relate to. She copes amazing well when her marriage breaks down, but with everything else going on around her she rarely has time to wallow in her own problems.

I do like a certain assistant nurse in the book! Sir F is such a good sport. The twins are typical boys & well grandad, who couldn't love him?

I felt I was right there with Fee through all the ups & downs, she had me laughing out loud so many times & even crying with her, which was a little bit embarrassing as I was on a plane at the time! But there's nothing like a good laugh & a good blub, that in my opinion makes a good book worth reading, again & again!

Marcus is a guy I'd like in my life & I'm actually jealous of Fee having him!

Roll on book 4 .............. hurry up Amanda & get it finished! No pressure!

I have been waiting for what seems like years for this book. I loved both Mummy Misfit books so I waited eagerly for 'book 3'
No mummy misfit this time, different format as not in diary form and different characters.
Fee is a character that you can't help but love. There are characters that you instantly love and characters that grow on you as you get to know them and there is one who had me swooning in my coffee.
So I have spent ALL day reading. Not hoovering or ironing or cooking but reading laughing and blubbing and I wholeheartedly recommend everyone does the same.
Well done Amanda. Now about book 4...
