There's no doubt that William Shakespeare is one of the greatest playwrights and poets in the history of Western literature, whose influence and legacy continues to this day. And anyone whose has appreciation for Shakespeare will know that they must have his complete works in their personal library, especially leatherbound hardcover copies; a fitting tribute to the Bard of Avon. This beautiful and reasonably priced leatherbound is a wonderful collection of all Shakespeare's works; all his plays, sonnets, poems and other work, including a glossary to help you understand the dramatic "olde" English Shakespeare used. The cover is a wonderful design, making it stand out in any library with a fantastic portrait of the poet, with nice additions of the gold-coloured fabric bookmark and the golden-lined pages.

A beautifully leather-bound, gold-edged asset to your bookcase. My heart sank when I realised the publisher was American but no need, the spellings are English! The plays are in chronological order rather then grouped as comedies, tragedies and histories. Of course all the sonnets etc are there too. At the back, there is a glossary of words whose meanings have changed over the years or simply disappeared. Exceptional value.

This book is, like what the title says, absolutely stunning. It is bound in genuine leather and the detail on the cover and spine is gorgeous. The pages are edged with gold, too. What's not to love? It really does make your library complete and adds that extra something special.
