I loved reading it and I was surprised that my youngest kid enjoied some of the stories too. Mark Twain is still fresh and funny.

Twain is Ridiculous 25 Feb 2010
By Jairus R. Mcdonald - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is probably the greatest book I've ever toted around. I take it everywhere because a Twain short story is always a good idea. His wit still remains unmatched and his language spans from proper England to the deep South. He does it like no one else.
Great American literature! 18 Mar 2012
By David E. Aeh - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Mark Twain writes in great detail and depth as well as in regular language of the time. The short stories give you another side of him and his time. I like reading short stories to give me a change from my other reading and his are great. More than a few are funny and actually fun to read out loud to others. Short stories of any type are good for bedtime; at least for me. Highly recommended.
