An absolute must-have,
By
This review is from: Complete Shibari Volume 2 (Paperback)
one of the best and most thorough books I've ever read about bondage. The security part alone should be mandatory for everyone to read before attempting suspensions. Only thing I regret is that I have not read it years ago.

I was expecting something more advanced. Anyway, the techniques are helpful, but I wanted a more detailed description of the nerve's positions and all. I am not saying it hasn't added anything to my previous knowledge, it has, but not as much as I expected.

the best books on ropework that I have found,
By David V. Winkler - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Complete Shibari Volume 2 (Paperback)
These are the best books on ropework that I have found. The books are important enough that I will ignore the female breasts in the instructional bondage photographs. Some of the ties appear to be missing steps, but the photographs are of high enough quality that it is generally possible to reconstruct the missing bits.

Excellent reference book!,
By John Hamilton Jr - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Complete Shibari Volume 2 (Paperback)
This is a great book if you have some experience in rope suspension. The author notes that everyone should have some practical training (and I agree) before performing any of these suspensions. Good explainations on rope basiscs and really excellent simple how-to photos. Highly recommend this as an addition to any rope library.

Absolutely Fantastic,
By J. Hancock - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Complete Shibari Volume 2 (Paperback)
Volume 2 of the "Complete Shibari" series is equally as useful and informative as the first installment. The book takes your through the basics to more advanced techniques with ease. The photo illustrations leave very little to question and very few assumptions are made of the reader. While this title stands very well on it's own, I do recommend that you pick up Volume 1. You will not regret the purchase. |
