Divided into both prenatal and postnatal workouts, this programme, presented by Erin O'Brien, shows you how to keep fit during your pregnancy and the best way to ease yourself back into shape after childbirth. The prenatal workouts include Pilates, sports conditioning and strength training, while the three 15-minute postnatal exercises focus on back, abdominals, buttocks and inner thighs, and hips.

As I'm still pregnant, I haven't yet tried the postnatal dvd, but if it's anything like the prenatal one, it's great! Erin is a fun host and I love the fact that I actually sweat doing this workout, even though it's not super-hardcore (since it's for pregnant women)! She gives tips on how to make it more strenuous if you're up to it, as well as how to step it down if you're feeling out of breath. She seems like a normal person and is not obnoxious to see over and over again. The section for you to do with a partner is fun and very easy to adapt to doing by yourself by just adding some hand weights, etc, so if you have trouble getting a partner to workout with you, it's not a problem. [NOTE: don't buy this AND the other Erin O'Brien prenatal fitness fix dvd, as that one is already included in this set.] Overall, I am very happy with this dvd and I highly recommend it to other pregnant ladies out there!

This DVD is excellent. I bought it at 20 weeks as I was finding it hard to keep motivating myself to exercise alone. This is great as you can fit it around your life - if you feel tired, just do 1 section, if you fancy a really good workout do the whole 60mins. You don't need a huge space to do the exercises - just enough to take 3 steps forward and to the side. The only equipment you need is a low table (or sofa arm), a chair and a wall!

I've only tried the first antenatal DVD and am keeping the postnatal one for later. So far I'm very impressed! I'm quite fit and active and this gets your heart rate up and pumping! You feel like you've done something really good for you and your baby, knowing that the moves Erin suggests are safe and beneficial. It's really encouraging to see a heavily pregnant woman really going for it, so it spurs you on too! She's not at all patronising, and hits the right mix of encouragement and motivation, without you feeling like you're not doing enough. She even shows you how to make the moves harder or easier, depending on your fitness level, or as is so typical with pregnancy, how you happen to be feeling that day!

Before buying I read lots of positive reviews but I also dipped into the negatives too. Don't be put off by them - people say she goes fast, but you've only got to do the routine a few times and then you know what's coming next. There is also such a thing as a pause button ;) . The partner work outs are fun - your partner provides resistance (and you control how much) - there is nowhere where you have to hold his entire weight!!! The workout is quite demanding but you can easily tone it down to suit you. Go ahead and get it - it's also much better value to buy the 2 discs at once rather than separate ante and post natal packages! Hope it helps you in your pregnancy like it's helping me!

I had always thought pregnancy exercise would be slow with no sweat at the end of the session. This proved me wrong. It is good to know that one can still do squats and press ups etc all modified for pregnancy and extremely effective. I recommend it for all pregnant women.

I bought 3 pregnancy exercise dvds and this wasn't my favourite but it was very good for my fitness and the most aerobic of the three. I kept it up until i was 35 weeks pregnant but then it was too much (i was in a high heat area though but i kept going with a milder dvd). The post natal bit is fab too - using post c section - i find it the easiest to it into my day being 15 minutes - i imagine it would be great for mums with seconds babies to fit in!
I find the instructor mildly annoying as others have said but mainly the baby talk which accompanies many prenatal dvds - but i found her the most annoying out of the three but i think thats a personal thing it just gets a bit old after 9 months!!
Ooh i didnt realise until too late as i didnt look at my postnatal stuff until i was cleared to exercise but she has a stretching section that can be used right after birth - i was itching to do anything after the birth and felt quite frustrated at waiting so would have been perfect if i'd looked at the dvd!!

This is a great dvd, im 3 months pregnant but is geared to all stages of pregnancy, very effective workout. Could feel the burn in my muscles the next day without actually feeling exhausted doing the workout.

Was a bit wary of this DVD at first. The production seemed so low budget and amateur and the lady seemed to be filming the workout in her own living room! Luckily the quality of workout and instruction more than makes up for this. Which just goes to show that a flashy studio and coiffed and made up celebrity does not a great pregnancy workout make! There are two DVDs in this collection. The first one is for during your pregnancy. Here the 7 month pregnant instructor introduces you in detail to a comprehensive workout including conditioning and dynamic cardiovascular movement. There is also some balance work to help work those pelvic floor muscles. There is a 40 minute complete workout video with a bonus 20 minute circuit section you can do with a partner. Before pregnancy I did a lot of running and workout videos so I was moderately fit. On the whole I found the 40 minute workout fine at around 15 weeks of pregnancy but is now getting more difficult (but still definitely manageable) as I enter my 21st week of pregnancy. I don't find myself very out of breath or panting and she reminds you to take drinks of water and toilet breaks. I really enjoy doing this workout now. The instructor is very "real" (no make-up and obviously pregnant) and very encouraging without being cheesy. I now love the low-budget look of this video as I'm more often than not feeling exhausted, large and highly unglamorous when doing this workout so it's refreshing not to feel worse by watching a glamorous skinny stick sailing through the workout. She also incorporates living room furniture and her (reluctant) partner into the workout which is great as most of us have that equipment handy. I haven't tried the post natal DVD yet obviously but have had a look through. It looks like 3 different sections that you progress through as you get fitter and recover after birth. Looks gentle but challenging - can't wait to try it!
