Great inspiration 7 Aug 2010
Format:Hardcover
I've always been a massive fan of Edward Lear's stuff! I love how pretentious people can't read too far into them! They are just fun :) I love the little illustrations as well. They really help to establish what Edward was thinking of at the time!
Definitely worth a read- although if you're an avid fan you will no doubt gobble the whole book up in a couple of hours!!

The work of Mr Lear is charming, just as I remember reading with my mother as a child. The only let down for me is that it is printed on such cheap and nasty paper; such a shame.

I'm studying Illustration and all my tutors raved on about this book. They said it would provide endless inspiration for my illustrations. Sadly I do not agree, and her illustrations are pretty shocking.
