Michael Hutt teaches Nepali and Himalayan Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Krishna Pradhan teaches Nepali at SOAS. Abhi Subedi is a Nepali poet, playwright and essayist.

Format:Audio CD
I spent two years working in Nepal as a volunteer between 2000 and 2002. I purchased the CD and corressponding book to brush up on my, far from perfect, Nepali. I would not recommend the CD for a complete beginner as the sections about pronunciation and replying to questions are very quick and not easy to follow. I know how to pronounce most of the words already, and had the benefit of living in a Nepali community, which makes a big difference.
