My adult Lithuanian class is using the book. We like it. The dialogs at the beginning of each chapter should be translated somewhere in the book. I like the audio files which help my comprehension of the spoken word. The speakers speak very slowly so I can translate each word. It would be nice if each line was spoken again, breaking each line into phrases with a pause to allow the listener to repeat the phrase. I guess I'll have to fire up Audacity and do it myself.
The exercises are interesting and helpful. The answer key at the end of the book is useful, I get immediate feedback when I do the exercises.
This book is the same as "Teach Yourself Lithuanian" with a minor changes, the page numbering is a little different, the printing and paper are a little better. But mostly the two books differ very little.
The author visited our class last year and I got my copy autographed.
