I don't know quite why I picked this book up in the local library... but by the end of Part 1 I had to own a copy because I wanted to write my own notes all over it. Susan Gregg's decades of experience of searching for her own spiritual wholeness and fulfillment is distilled into this tome, which is a spiritual workbook and reference guide. This very readable book describes the reasons for people seeking wholeness... and whether it is for you. It lists an encyclopedia of enlightenment techniques, explains at length the mind/body/spirit interaction, and how to work towards bringing all three into balance. The emphasis is on supplying enough information to enable the reader to discover the techniques that work for him/her - a welcome change from many prescriptive self-help books. Working through this book makes you think about how you think, what's going on in your life, and how your thought processes might be tweeked to give a much happier, contented view of it all. It makes sense.
