Having just qualified as a post natal fitness instructor I was recommended this book by a colleague. The book is very well written and really expands on the knowledge gained through my training. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to any fitness instructor who wishes to work with this group of clients.

I would recommend this book to any exercise profesionals working with postnatal women. it contains loads of up to date and really important information. I teach postnatal exercise classes and will be using some of the exercises in my class tonight!

This latest review of post-natal research and guidelines is a must for fitness instructors and practitioners. Judy provides a rounded understanding of the human body, movements and specifically the requirements as they differ for the post-natal client. As an Osteopath and lecturer, I need to be up-to-date with the latest research in order to provide my patients with the most appropriate and safe advice to help them achieve their goals. It's refreshing to read a book that explains in simple terms a topic so diverse and complex. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone starting or wishing to progress their career working with post-natal women.
