I practice martial arts and train every day since 1990. If you are serious about getting fit this is one of the few books out there. Easy to read, covers all the basic exercises you do in the military for the upper and lower body, give emphasis on the abdominals and explains how to perform each exercise right for best results. Also covers on different chapters' pull-ups and dips, running and swimming as well as rope climbing. One of the best things for the book is the workouts which prepare you for the BUD/S. You will definitely see very good results from the first week, I highly recommend this book, is a must if you want to be in a perfect shape. Note that the pictures in the book are very clear but in black and white and it comes with a DVD for the exercises.
