Great beginners book 4 Oct 2009

Good book for those who need the basic techniques spelled out. Many large projects (clothes)and some smaller ones. The 'big wool' scarf is so quick and easy (and groovy), although I wasn't so keen on the needle 'udder'(cow print and udder pink needle caddy) which was a bit grotesque. However I really valued the explanations and photos of basic stitches. Give to a non-knitting/ crocheting friend with some lovely wool and needles.

I have previous experiencce in knitting but nothing beyond a square really but there are some really lovely projects in this book. If you're a crafty person there are some lovely gifts to try. However, it's a book you really need to sit down with and pay 100% concentration to, it's a little tricky. Very imformative as well, give it a go

This is a great book for small easy-to-achieve projects. Sadly it now seems to
be out of print so I was delighted to find it by chance on Amazon.
