A well-written book that covers the subject area quite well & in some depth. This is both a good reference book and an enjoyable read. Some of the photos show eqipment that is somewhat out-of-date, in style & colours if not otherwise. Many photos could also be replaced with ones more glossy and ultra-sharp, as is the style recently. The information is up-to-date, but the photos need updating.

Loved it! I am a new diver and currently doing my PADI Open Water. Great choice for a novice to get an understanding of what its all about. Lovely photos!
