What a treat. 26 tracks of Straight Edge and hardcore history... Minor Threat's whole work on one CD. The raw, inspiring energy of Ian Mackaye keeps you hooked throughout 45 mins of anger and bemusement as the band look at the trivialities of today's consumer society. The band that defined "Straight Edge" (but were not the ones responsible for the movement it has now become) left a mark in punk greater than mainstream fans will ever know - but the artists are indebted to.
Who'd believe Fugazi could be greater?

tracks taken from 3 7"s a 12"and tracks off a compilation titled flex your head.minor threat took punk by the scruff of the neck and shook it about.for more than 20 years i have been listening to minor threat,it is punk rock at its best.

This album is probably the definitive D.C hardcore record and, in my opinion, one of the greatest punk albums ever.
I love this album so much I went out and got a Minor Threat tattoo!
If you like punk buy this. If you are new to punk and hardcore buy this. And if you think the stuff that gets played on so called alternative music channels is good, for God's sake you NEED to buy this!!!!!
This is music with conviction, so stop reading this and BUY IT!!!!! (Or steal it if like!!!!)
