This is an interesting and infrormative book in which well coloured diagrams and easy to understand text make it a must for the GCSE student. I particularly liked the coloured page tops which allow you to find the correct chapter in a shorter amount of time with the minimum of effort. The section on the development of the periodic table is substantially of note and is formatted in a very easy to understand way.
I found this book to be somwhat expensive but I think that it could be worth it, even if ,many people do not as this is the first review However the basic fact remains that this book is expensive. It is a shame that schools cannot afford it on a one per student ratio.
