Great book! A must read for beginners as well as advanced mahjong players.

This book represents the most definitive and balanced account of Mah Jongg to date as the majority of books on the subject seem biased towards American hybridisation. A D Millington seeks to re-establish the original classical Chinese interpretation of the game and provides an invaluable insight into the history and development of Mah Jongg. Having read several similar accounts, A D Millington's remains the the most objective book I have read.
This account is definitely highly recommended.

Excellent book for learning and teaching games. Very useful for youth and community workers to build on relationships through games. games can help build self esteam, teambuilding, awareness of others and communication as well as physical motivation.
