i've also got the sociology one and their both really helping me out. they answer all those questions that you just can't ask in the classroom! Definately worth it. It's got a great revision list at the back so your revision is organised.

This is an excellent resource to have at the desk, whether you are studying or revising. It does what it sets out to do; I guess it can be described as an extended glossary with examples. I found it very useful to get a lucid explanation of a concept, which I could then study in-depth from my main textbook. It also contains a very useful topic revision list, which lists key terms to study for.

The Book gives tailor made answers for the exam qustions

Biology Textbook - how useful
I believe that this book is a significant achievment along the lines of revision guides I am doing a Biological Sciences degree in France and still use it to this day

The biology bible
The author is a chief examiner so really knows what he is on about in this book which will definetly get you an A in you 'A' level biology exam.
