However that changed last month when I came into a small amount of money and decided to replace my mobile phone and take the plunge with a PDA. I hadn't wanted to spend quite this much on a PDA at first and was looking at cheaper models, but my shiney new Sony Ericsson T610 mobile has blue tooth and none of the cheaper PDA's had this function.
Well I must say it's the best thing i have ever bourght! I promise you will never look at a paper diary again. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to, but then your flying! There is not much this amazing piece of kit will not do. I could sing its praises for hours but I'll just tell you the bits you want to hear.
Build quality - superb, it oozes class and quality. Just from its feel in your hand you know you have a serious piece of kit.
Functionality - unlimited! I'm still finding new ways to use it!
Software - thousands of programmes available. Pick and choose those that interest you.
Reliability - early days but no problems so far.
Desirability - massive! My friends and work colleagus won't leave it alone!
One good tip though - install 'Pocket informant 4' as your information managment programme. It's much better than the programme that comes with the machine and will improve your enjoyment and ease of use 10 fold.
If your still unsure about a PDA like I was the best piece of advice I can give is GO FOR IT! Don't make the mistake of going for one of the 'cheap' models though. They don't have the same level of functionality and you will regrett it later.
To sum up, I don't have anything bad to say about the H3970 but not enough room to write the good points.
This is without doubt the Concorde of PDA's!
