5.0 out of 5 stars A Breath of Fresh Air 26 Sep 2003
Format:Hardcover
I always approach DW short story collections with slight apprehension, fear that everything new and original has already been said and done. But this jaded reader needn't have worried, for this book contains 17 original and highly enjoyable stories to devour.
There's something for everyone with various companions from the likes of Ian and Barbara right through to the present day TARDIS occupants such as Charley and Anji, all vividly and accurately depicted.
The book is a breath of fresh air in an ever increasing marketplace and well worth searching out - excellent stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great bedside companion 15 Mar 2009
Format:Hardcover
I have to take my hat off to the 'Short Trips' range, they keep on coming but seem to maintain a ratio of at least 5:1 in favour of good stories. This book is no exception; my least favourite was the one featuring Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright but even that wasn't bad. As long as they keep publishing them and they're at least as good as this I'll keep recommending them.
