I bought this book as had a previous edition from 2004. I find the book well laid out and it gives clear information about the law in relation to community care. One of the topics I have found very helpful is the matter of 'ordinary residence'. This has been a common issue for social workers which has, not until now, been clearly explained. I am now enlightened! As an employee of my local authority and also working as an independent social worker, I find this book invaluable and worth every penny.

A fantastic book, i cannot recommend this highly enough. it contains everything you need regarding this area of the law and sets it out clearly and concisely. It has great analytical detail and if there is something that it does not contain, it more than provides you with direction as to where to find what you seek. Definitely a book worth buying

Item as described, fast delivery. It's a big, heavy book with an extremely academic writing style which can be difficult at first, however it was reccomended to me as one of the complete guides to current community care law and hasn't dissapointed.
