5.0 out of 5 stars great, great, great. 7 April 2011
Format:Paperback
I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED COMMUNICATE TO WIN. I ACTUALLY BORROWED IT FROM THE LIBRARY AT FIRST AND I DIDN'T WANT TO RETURN IT, SO I BOUGHT IT INSTEAD.
I REALLY DID ENJOY IT, ESPECIALLY A PART WHERE IT TALKS ABOUT WRITING 'NICE LETTERS' INSTEAD OF BEING ANGRY, HOW JUST BY USING CERTAIN WORDS IT CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE SITUATION AROUND. PLUS SOME FANTASTIC INSPIRATION QUOTES. I HAVE TAKEN ON SO MUCH FROM READING THAT BOOK I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

SO THANKS FOR THAT.

HAPPY READING

5.0 out of 5 stars Some good tips on general style 12 Nov. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Provides a good introduction to communication style. Highlights some annoying habits people get themselves into and how not to communicate - eg. being overly self involved, egotistical, reactive (and generally, David Brent-esque). Overall I've returned to this book time and time again. Its concise too which only adds to the liklihood I'll actually read it all the way through.

It was many years ago when I first time read this book in Latvian language.
Now I was really happy to buy this book in English.
Richard Denny ideas really help me to built my confidence to be in the art world, but most useful this book was when I studied English language in England.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looking into the Mirror 27 Mar. 2006
By Fraser Crozier - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
If you ever wondered what it was thet you were doing wrong when you couldn't find a way to get your message across, then you will enjoy the short journey to self awareness. It's a funny thing to discover that all it takes to bridge the gap between people is being willing to take the first step yourself. Lead by example. Be prepared to answer the very questions you ask of others. This book leads you through the obvious, providing succint examples of "what if" etc. If you don't find a better way to communicate by reading this book, be prepared to admit you have a long way to go.
