size mattered,

I bought this book for a foreign friend, and as far as it goes it will be useful. It contains some amusing and instructive cartoons, but there is no list of commonly mis-spelled words, which was surprising. But most surprising of all was the diminutive size of the book - imagine a CD case, trim an inch off the height and the width, and that's about the size of it. Of course the advantage is perfect portability, but its 160 pages equate to about 60 pages of a typically-dimensioned paperback. Viewed in these terms you feel you have got very little for your money.
