Given the premise of a drummer taking on terrorists at a rock concert, I thought this would be dire.
But as an action fan, just had to see it. The shock here is that whilst not on the same level as other terrorist movies (the obvious one, and the defining one being Die hard)it is actually quite a good movie.
Silly yes, but for a low budget film, the action and effects are good, the pace is fine and the performances are very good.
There's lots of bloody violence, a few fights, gun shoot outs and the odd explosion, so the film covers the action basics.
The production design and filming styles really add to the look of the film, and make a straight to DVD film, that could easily be shown on the big screen.
Dolph Lundgren seems much better when, like on this film he is in the directors chair, not only as director but as an actor, and his performance is good here.
The only down side or minor quibble would be that the there is a slight lack of humour, but that still does not take away from the fact this is a very competent action thriller.
