The armies that clash in Command & Conquer Generals are the super powers of United States and China, and a massive underground organisation, the Global Liberation Army, bent on drowning the world in anarchy and terror. With the first expansion pack for Command & Conquer Generals, players can unleash the absolute latest in modern weapons technology against the world's most powerful Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour. Players will wage a global war to become the ultimate General of modern warfare as they square off against the world's most elite commanders. An all-new Generals Challenge mode will allow players to control any of nine distinctive armies in battle through nine computer-controlled Generals. After defeating the AI Generals, players will have the ability to select conquered armies to play online.
Selecting from an arsenal of new high-tech weaponry and a wide variety of new units, players will employ whatever it takes to remove enemy Generals from power. An all-new Generals Challenge mode allows players to control any of 9 new armies in battle against 9 AI generals. The ultimate goal will be to successfully make their way through all 9 enemy Generals, and unlock a select number of their armies for play in Skirmish and Online modes and prove once and for all they are the Ultimate Modern Warfare General.

The problems with the codes seem to be sorted now. Mine worked first time.
So far I havn't played it much but from the first few missions it looks amazing. Definitly one of the most realistic C&C games as yet

Command and Conquer Generals is one of the most polished of the Command and Conquer series and a good successor to Red Alert 2. The 3 sides are well balanced and the addition of the individual generals in Zero Hour makes a huge number of variations possible. The Deluxe edition is easily the best way to buy this game now, since you will want the add-on after buying the game. As with previous CnC games, the add on is as valuable as the original in playing terms.
I found the format of the game to be immensely additictive, with the multiplayer options being one of the strongest pulls. Even now at July 2004, there are many people playing this game online and finding an opponent takes only seconds.
As others have said before me, please do make sure your computer exceeds the minimum specification for this game, as your enjoyment of the game will be much reduced on a lower spec system. If you cannot exceed the mimimum requirements, I would suggest looking at Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 instead. It is also a good game and you will find it better on a slower system.

I recently took the risk and brought this item on New years ve 2003, it arrived on the 3rd january 2004. The item was supurb, the packaging was exellent and the game itself works perfectlly well. If you are thinking to buy this item but you dont want to because of the other reviews, BUY IT!!!!. The other reviews say that the serial numbers are incorrect etc, mine worked fine.
