I get a house provided with my job and have to move every couple of years. I am therefore limited to using products that do not cause any visible damage to our home. A few weeks ago I was thinking about the requirement for hooks in our current home and thought there must be a product out there that can be stuck to walls/doors/fridges etc that causes no damage when removed. After some research I came across these hooks and the first size I bought was small, which I used for key hanging hooks for our hallway. Having tested them (by removing a hook to see if any damage was caused) I realised that this is the product I have been needing for the past few years. I instantly ordered medium size hooks, which I am now using for hanging dish cloths and tea towels on in the kitchen. I then ordered some large hooks, which I am using on the backs of our bedroom doors for hanging dressing gowns and clothes on. These hooks really do remove easily and leave no marks. An excellent product that has brought order to my home, without me worrying about causing damage to one of my employer's properties.

I don't know what's more amazing, the fact that I used them to hung bathrobes for 2 years and they held perfectly or that they came off so neatly and without leaving trace when I needed them to (and they can be reused, just change the adhesive strips). We bought all sizes and used them or everything, who needs nails?

I've used these types of hooks before as I live in rented accomodation and it's easy to remove them using the special tab at the bottom of the hook, without pulling off wallpaper or paint. I've bought lesser brands in the past, and they always seem to fall off the wall after a few months. I hang really heavy items on these and they haven't come down yet! You can also buy additional sticky pads so that if you want to re-position the hooks, you can really simply.

Love these 3M hooks and use them all over the house.

Hold really well, yet leave no mess if they're removed as per the instructions. Can't ask for more.

I purchased two of these Command Large Hooks. One has remained hanging for the last 9 months with a house coat and towel weighing it down. However, the other hook fell with in a few weeks then again when I tried a different strip on it. The same amount of weight was on it and was put up exactly the same as the one that has lasted.

I first encountered these many years ago when they were somewhat different than today's designs. The older versions were less substantial and often broke after a few weeks. Today's are much more substantial and the 'magic strips' are better and supplied in at least a pair for each hook. There are now many more designs and size options than ever.

The house we live in has doors that are composite and basically hollow so they cannot take a screw, which means a standard hook cannot be used. When I found these, I knew that they were the answer! Although they cannot be considered permanent, a hook can last for several years before needing to be replaced - the hooks usually part from the backplate.

The magic strips can be easily removed by pulling and stretching them, which breaks their adhesion and will remove very cleanly from most surfaces. However, some painted surfaces may show some damage but not always.

I have recommended these to friends' student offspring to use in digs where they are prevented from making any permanent changes and to others living in temporary accommodation. Perhaps more expensive than a permanent alternative, they are still reasonably priced considering that they can be removed and relocated. Spare 'magic strips' are available to match most products in the range, should they be needed.

Recommended.

I have put up three of these on my flimsy, hollow bathroom door where other hooks have failed, and to be fair it is the best so far - however, one hook still came crashing down, but as you do get a few extra stick-on pieces, I just put it back up again and since then it has stayed put. It hold a heavy bathrobe without problems.

When I eventually received these hooks and used them on the wall, they were absolutely fine for securing my curtains. Good value for money, but why give free p & p that takes more than a month to arrive? I would have been happy to have been given the opportunity to pay for airmail and receive the item within a week.

We've used this hook in our shower to hold up storage basket.

Its fully loaded with shampoo, condition shower gel etc and is still stuck to the wall and hasn't budged.

I would suggest following the fixing instructions.

Would recommend
