One to make you smile,

Witty and interesting lyrics and catchy tunes make this debut album from the self financed London based band a real gem. With it's roots in Brit Pop you can hear influences from Squeeze, The Police, and more recently James with a bit of an American Rock vibe as well. There's a feel good sound running through the album but tracks contrast between quiet, reflective and classy to upbeat and rocky. Loyal fans liked the music so much they financed the album - a great recommendation. Smile, relax, tap your feet, sing along or jump around - enjoy!

Since my home country Germany is not exactly blessed with great bands an great music I usually go to London looking for it. I got to listen to the record pre-release courtesy of a friend with close connections to Clear. This is great stuff that will hit the continent with a vengance. Sticky tunes, good vibes and great lyrics, that you'll enjoy on a relaxing summer day in the city or on the beach as well as in the more thoughtful moments of life. I am convinced that it won't be long before Clear is all over German radio and the Munich Olympic Stadion is waiting for their first World Tour!

Stunning debut,

Occassionally an artist releases a debut album of this quality - I can think of The Undertones, The Clash, Oasis, Travis. Coming Round will have broad appeal - as long as the listener appreciates good music. XTC, The Soft Boys, Squeeze (and others) are all there as influences but they are blended with Clear's own music and lyrics to produce a distinct sound. Highly recommended
