Wow, this is a superb buy. I heard his single release and fell head over heels for it, waited anxiously for the release of the album, I wasn't disappointed. I grew up with my family listening to the likes of the Commodores, Diana Ross etc., or should I say The Legends. As usual Mr Richie takes you places in love that other ballads can't reach. Congratulations Mr Richie, you haven't lost your touch, he is truely a legend and this album proves it - some things do get better with age.

Format:Audio CD
My whole family in the late seventies and the early eighties lived with the music of Mr. Lionel Richie.. He was simply a natural artist. We called him "The king of ballads". It was just last week that I went to the store to see if there have been some new albums that have been released. I generally go to these stores to pick some more CD's for my collection which is well over 250 of different artist. To my great surprise I saw an album a new one that had been released by this great man. I asked the musicroom manager to play a few tracks as I was not aware about the new release. With just the second song that he played I said enough and added that to my collection. Believe me this is a truly fantastic album. I say this because he han't been bogged down to the early to mid eighties he has moved with the times and shown that he can perform the ballads and also the hip stlye RnB hits of today to the satisfaction of the crowd of Today. I am in my late thirties but the view I expressed is not purely my own, these comments have been made by so many of my friends who are in there late twenties as well.

Most of these songs are going to be classics... Up all night, I call it love, Why, out of my head, the title track I am coming home and of couse my favourite I love you... there is more.......

This is almost the opposite of mutton dressed as lamb. Lional Richie is a good, mature singer of songs with good melodies. However, much of this album is spoilt by "modern" trappings. It's a shame, hence only 4 stars instead of 5.
