Surely, for many church-going Americans, few topics can be more important than insights into the rich, sometimes enigmatic parables of Jesus. Dr. Motlagh, raised in a Jewish/Baha'i family in Iran, explores these parables & finds in them convincing evidence to invite the reader to examine the writings & life of a Persian mystic--Baha'u'llah. The framework of the book consists of excellent questions (& objections) raised by a Christian minister, & then Dr. Motlagh's answers to those questions. The entire book is suffused with kindness & humility. I spent 2 days glued to my computer screen reading the Kindle version of this book. It drew me closer to God.
