Pure Excellent 27 Mar 2004
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Every song on this album is just simply great. A real pleasure to listen too. I first heard them at The Reading Rock festiveal a few years back and they failed to turn my head. But after you listen to the album a couple of times you think wow! this is a really great album with some really great lyrics. They sound like Nivarna, and lets face it if Nivarna were still around they would be as big as the R.H.C.P. Puddle of Mud have a while to go yet before they are this big but they are still worth a go. All in all a good album. Add it to your collection now.

From the moment I listened to the 1st song, I could tell this was going to be a brilliant album.
Control is a heavy song, with amazing riffs. All the songs have mind-blowing riffs.
'Drift and Die' and 'Out Of My Head' are average songs with nothing special, then from 'Nobody Told Me', the album just gets better as the band get harder, apart from the light, funny 'She Hates Me' which adds humour to the album, but that is also a good song.
Puddle Of Mudd have their own style that no other band can match. Wes has his own vocal style which makes every song sound unique and different from any other song you have heard.
A must but for all you rock fans out there.

A Precious Gem
This album is sheer genius. It is unadulterated rock and is brimmed full of tunes. The album opens with 'Control' which is probably the greastest song on this album. Read more

Corporate complaint rock made by troglydtes.
When listening to Puddle of Mudd I realise why Kurt Cobain blew his head off with an automatic weapon; this is the corporate sound of rawk that shifts units en masse. Read more
