20cl 60% Combier Blanchette was the name of the original absinthe produced by Distillerie Combier (Saumur, France) circa 1900. This absinthe was developed for Combier by T. A. Breaux (but not a part of the Jade Liqueurs absinthe line) as it is made independently by the distillery, using the same antique copper absinthe stills used for Jade absinthes. Blanchette is a Swiss-style, clear absinthe that yields a distinct aroma and flavor of anise and grande wormwood, with a background of alpine herbs.
