Fun:
Bought as a present for 2 grandsons who remained glued to the joystick - in turns!, throughout their stay - pausing only to 'refuel' on Grandma's cakes! An excellent buy from my point of view!

Fun:
I normally enjoy more realistic flight simulations but this game is fun for a very reasonable price. Enjoy it as a brief interlude from more complex simulations.

Fun:
Good game if you want to spend a little time shooting at aircraft, stick it into arcade mode & use the mouse or pad to control the aircraft, also get to be anti-aircraft gunner a few times & a gunner on a bomber, put it simply a good little game for a little money

Easy to fly game, good for a laugh - but just remember it was made a long time ago, so nothing too fancy, but nice to have, and fun.

No Sturmovik, nowhere near.
Probably been spoiled by Sturmovic IL 2, in it's various incarnations, but I was not impressed by this Combat Wings title or their Battles of The Red Baron. Read more

Rubbish if you have a joystick
This is a fun arcade-y shootup for the first level, but be warned. Customise the controls for flight and you cannot use them for controlling the gun turrett. Inexcusable! Read more

Good fun!
