The best accident I ever had was discovering this band, I first heard about them whilst browsing the internet for information about another gothic metal band, Inkubus Sukkubus (Who you really should check out, by the way). I usually prefer harder more rockier music, but this band has opened my eyes to more melodic riffs and especially the female vocal.

This band has two singers, The beautiful Cristina Scabbia who has possibly one of the best voices I have ever heard, and the more gruff voice of Andrea Ferro. The two voices contrast each other and are a delight to hear together.

All the instruments in this band are played together to perfection, and it all just goes together so well, its quite amazing to hear.

Every song on this album is good, but the picks would be "Swamped", Heaven's a lie", "Daylight Dancer", "The Ghost woman and the hunter", "Unspoken", "Entwined" and the excellent, and my favourate Lacuna song, "Comalies".

This band truelly is a diamond in the ruff of todays music, pick it up no matter what you like, this is definately the sort of music that could appeal to rock and Britney fans alike. Buy it now, you wont regret it!

It's not often you find an album which is perfect in every way, but Lacuna Coil seem to have the knack for creating music that is just that - perfect.

There is a song to fit every mood; from the slow ethereal grace of 'The Ghost Woman and the Hunter', to the obvious digust and hatred in 'Angel's Punishment'. Each track blends seemlessly into the next, taking you on an epic adventure across the scope of the imagination.

Christina Scabbia's enchanting vocals entice you into their Italian-gothic world, and fits wonderfully next to Andrea's harsh and powerful voice.

Lacuna Coil have demonic backing guitars and rhythms which drive the music forward, as well as their unusually melodic tunes and powerful choruses.

In conclusion - definitely not one to be missed!

I have only one word which I can use to describe this album...WOW. From the first second to the last this album is almost prefect, the soaring harmonised vocals of Christine Scabbia combined with that of Andy Ferro this album just gets better with every song. To say that Heaven must be missing an angel, might be a bit of an old cleche, but this girls vocals have to be heard to be believed. From the raging guitar work, racing, thumping drums and sweeping keys this is goth metal for all, it's got it all, buy today, you will not be disappointed. This is just one of those must have albums, no collection could be called a collection without it.
