I bought this film, being a Val Kilmer fan. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. It is a film I will be able to watch over again. The story is entertaining, and unusually for Val recently, it doesn't end in his grizzly demise! There are twists a plenty to get to that conclusion though although it is all set in one day! Needless to say, the man has lost none of his acting ability - he is totally believable as the character. A method actor at his best, although his love of his children needs no acting - that is real. I also find fun watching for Val's trade marks in all his films. He spins things (keys, coins, guns, swords, depending on the film) and also rubs two fingers together when quiet. Both are evident in this film!
