Bought these on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. Have suffered from ibs for 15 years and one of my symptoms is being unable to eat due to a nauseas feeling most of the time. Although it hasn't helped with the diarrhoea, it has completely stopped the nausea and at last I can enjoy food. I started with the recommended dose, 3 a day then 2 and now I just take one in the afternoon. Bit expensive if you take them all the time so going to ask my doctor for them.

I have post gastroenteritis IBS and tried Colpermin to ease my troublesome symptoms. However, while it eased my bloating and abdominal pain, it also gave me quite bad heartburn and indigestion. My doctor advised that this is because it is a concentrated amount of peppermint oil in a capsule and when the capsule dissolves in your system and the oil is released, it can be a little strong. I found Buscopan IBS tablets to be much better, with fewer side effects. If you want a more natural and less harsh option, dilute a few drops of peppermint oil in a few inches of water in a glass and drink that.

Many drugs in the UK that used to be avialable only on prescription can now be sold in pharmacies. However, it is done to exploit the customer. For £4.84 you get 20 capsules. Read more

It really works for me!
