I am so happy I bought this book!!! I have been wanting to work with Anodised Aluminium for some time and this book has answered all the questions I had regarding this material. The descriptions and processes are thorough and have been written in a way which is easy to understand. Lindsey Mann provides information for those wishing to work on small and large scale production, and the list of suppliers at the back has saved so much time on researching sources of materials!!!

I buy lots of jewellery books, most of which are rather samey. This, however, I read cover to cover in a day and was fired up to try some of the techniques. Well explained and lovely photographs.

Although the cover doesn't show as many examples of ways you can colour aluminium as other books on the subject, this book is much better than others I've bought because the advice it gives is clearer and more down to earth, enabling a beginner to the medium to work experimentally from the start. The checklist of problems and list of suppliers is invaluable. Don't bother with other books - just buy this one.
