Really enjoy a hard back that has been used but is in good condition. I love Colour Blind. It is one of my favourite Catherine Cookson books. The book is unmarked. I don't think it has been read. I shall certainly read it and keep it for posterity. The story is beautiful and poignant. Catherine certainly brought prejudices out into the open and challenged bigotry and this is especially true with racism. The demise and devlopment of Rose Angela's character througout the novel is sublime. I would encourage anyone who suffers the indignities of racial harrassement to read this book. The happy ending brings a wonderful climax to a wonderful story.

Her books are in a league of their own. Nobody writes quite like catherine cookson. Many have tried and failed dismally. She cannot be imitated. This is one of her absolute best.
