This is my favorite of all the Dover Coloring Books because it combines two of my favorite things: coloring and military history.
The selection of posters is excellent: 14 from WWI and 16 from WWII. The drawings range, in my opinion, from a medium to a difficult skill level. "Rosie the Riviter" is the simplist and "Don't Let That Shadow Touch Them" is probably the hardest.
Some parents might be concerned about this coloring book, but there really isn't any need to be. One image does show a soldier standing over an enemy's body, but none of the pictures are graphic. There also aren't any posters that could be termed racist although they certainly existed at the time.
I would recommend this book to anyone enterested in the World Wars, Americana, or well-drawn coloring books in general. You won't be disappointed.
