Gives excellent visuals and information on how to create colour design drawings, exploring media, materials and techniques. A most valuable asset for interior design students. Other books to peruse include 'Interior Design Visual Presentation' by Maureen Mitton and 'Color Rendering' by Wei Dong.

Format:Hardcover
Jam packed with instructions and examples on exactly how to produce stunning renderings. This makes a refreshing change from the many expensive and largely fresh air filled books on the market that promise lots and deliver little. It is a lengthy volume that gives most benefit by following the chapters in order. Each chapter is pretty much indispensable and builds on previous knowledge. Most subjects are covered to a good degree from selecting suitable media to how render clouds, trees, water etc. Would suit not only professionals in the field but also anyone interested in expressive drawing. An excellent long term investment that you can refer to over the years.

I'm an urban planner and urban designer as well as a drawing amateur and while I am able to produce decent renderings in black and white, I have always struggled with how to use color in a clean and efficient way. Well, those days are going to end thanks to this book, it really contains everything you need to know on the topic of color drawing, so go ahead and purchase it, you won't regret it.
