Format:Audio CD

The dialogue in the book does not always follow the CD.In my opinion this is not a book for beginers but if you have a fair knowledge the CD is useful in tuning the ear to Bulgarian speach.

It's about time someone wrote a review for this book. I'm extremely happy with it, it's thorough, logical, concise and everything I wanted from a first book. The 2nd addition of colloquial Bulgarian is better than the first I feel, and I'm so glad it was remade. Teach Yourself Bulgarian is good, but I like the format of this one much better, as the other book seems overwhelming in size and this is more digestible, at the same time being thorough. I get the impression that a lot of thought was put it into it and it's nice to see a well organized teaching aid.

P.S. Bulgarian is a great language to learn, the country is highly interesting and the grammar of Bulgarian is much simpler than most other slavic languages.
