Another book bought to update current one (dating back to the 80s!).
Very pleased with this Atlas: the maps are very good but it has so much more to offer. You can see population and political movements, geographical and economical changes, global warming, to name just few.
It is not too bulky/heavy and still a good size to see descent size maps. Recommend this Atlas.

I gave this atlas to my 87yr old mother for Christmas. She was thrilled with it as she is able to refer to it when various countries are mentioned on the news, many of which do not exist in her old school atlas!!! She also finds it very interesting as it contains so much general information.

My father-in-law lives in America and was desperate for an atlas for his teenage son. I ordered this and it is a great hit - has absolutely everything F-i-l wanted. I noticed yesterday a huge pile of these in my sons school so they must be fabulous.
