Works/ed well for my 2 kids.
There are many revision guides out there, and they might all be good, but you wont go wrong with this one.
This one is well structured with concise revision topics, quick tests, key points, summaries, and test papers at the back.

even before you have a test, i would recommend it to anyone

This book gives a lot of information and the exercises at the end allow the reader to carry out some practice on what they have learnt.

A useful KS3 maths study guide
The most recent version of this book, my personal preference is for the former edition, but if you can't get the older one, this is still worth buying - and it's reasonably priced.
